Testimonials
“E. served as my postpartum Doula during the first three days that I was out of the hospital after giving birth to my daughter Poppy. I could not recommend her more highly. My husband and I are both completely new to babies and were incredibly nervous going home. E. could not have been kinder or more gentle and supportive with both us and our daughter. She went above and beyond visiting us for multiple hours in the hospital before we were released to get a sense of us and what we were looking for, and to make sure that we all felt comfortable with each other. She was incredibly attentive and responsive and thoughtful at all times while in our home, going out of her way to both anticipate and meet our needs and make sure that everything was going safely and smoothly with my daughter. She helped us with everything from tending to all of my daughter’s needs, teaching us how to do the same and helping us with anything that we needed for ourselves ranging from preparing food, hand expressing my colostrum, and figuring out how to work my breast pump, to helping us make a list of questions to ask the doctor. She communicated exceptionally well at all times both before during and after our engagement with her. While E. has many strengths, I’d say that her top ones are her level of diligence, compassion, and commitment to providing the highest quality support to both babies and their parents. I cannot identify any weaknesses because she is truly fabulous. I would absolutely work with Emilia again in the future, and I have already recommended her to friends. Any family would be lucky to work with her!”

“E. attended the birth of our son and came to our home to support us in the first few days after we got home from the hospital.
She taught us how to care for our baby, helped with feedings, diaper changes and basic care for the baby. E. also guided us through some health challenges later that week and she called to check on us multiple times. She always made sure that I have had everything I needed and helped us go through the first night at home with our baby. We thank her for the time and dedication to help us adjust to the new life with our son.”

” We had E. for our 2nd baby. Our previous doula was an amazing resource but we could not afford her for our 2nd baby so I went to search for a bit of a newer doula who had a lower rate. We spoke with E. just a few days before I gave birth, it was a brief time to get to know each other but we hit it off when we first spoke and it was a very brief relationship before the birth.
E. is very kind, calm and has a nice personality and energy. She is holistic in her own life, nutrition, being a mother, and finds beauty in womanhood. I loved that she had no judgment, listened to me and helped navigate my emotions during the birth and let me make my own judgement with how and when I wanted to proceed with pushing. She came prepared, and even though she is a mother herself, never made me feel like she wasn’t 100% with me. She gave me tremendous support and the feeling of safety during my labor and birth and I am so grateful that I was able to find her.”
