Hi my name is Arlene!

I am West Indian and my back ground is from Trinidad and Tobago. I have been a baby nurse for over 24 years with multiple single twins and one set of triplets. Somehow I take care of more twins than singletons and I love it!

I have taken care of kids with health challenges or preemies . My duties include everything pertaining to newborn including diapering, sterilizing, bathing, burping and changing babies. I also love to assist parents with teaching nurturing and caring for infants …. teaching moms with different techniques and holds when breastfeeding- I want my families to feel confident about their baby and taken care of at the same time.

• Skilled and dedicated professional specialized in newborn care and lactation.
• With 24+ years of experience, taking care of newborn straight from hospital, managing daily care of newborn
and assistance to parents, whether first child or not.
• Capacity to provide basic services, such as umbilical cord care, circumcision, feeding (bottle or breast) burping,
soothing, swaddling, bathing, diaper changing, sterilizing of bottles, cleaning of baby’s closet, toys and doing
baby’s laundry.
• Extensive training in mother/baby bonding, including assisting mothers with breast-feeding techniques and
troubleshooting.
• Accompanying to doctor’s appointment for checkups and vaccinations.
• Highly focused and implementing a daily schedule of feeding and sleep regimen so the baby sleeps through the
night (approximately three months of age).
