Hi there!
I’m F., and I’m committed to providing birth support that is warm, grounding, and deeply rooted in culture and community. As a Black Muslim woman, my path into supporting birthing families is deeply personal, shaped by witnessing the strength of my community, the importance of collective care, and the need for affirming support in spaces where many families have felt unheard.
I am committed to honoring each person’s story and creating a birth experience that centers dignity, informed choice, and emotional safety. My care style blends calm presence, thoughtful guidance, and a deep respect for the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of birth.
Whether supporting a first-time parent, holding space during moments of uncertainty, or helping families transition into postpartum, I approach each journey with compassion and intention. Above all, I believe every family deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered as they welcome new life.
Testimonials:
F. was amazing support for me and my husband. I hired her in my 2nd trimester to have enough time to prepare for the birth. She remained calm, helped me with positions for pain relief and worked with our medical staff so they respect our birth plan.
After birth, she provided extensive postpartum mental health support. She really focused on me just as much as on my baby which was so valuable given the fact that most people focus on the baby only. I would love to have her by my side again next time!
