Testimonials

Working with M. was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. She was calm and supportive throughout the entire process, and she helped me and my partner feel more confident as new parents. We are so grateful for her help!

-Catherine

M. was hands-on and 100% supportive from the beginning. She answered every email, query and comment I had with kindness and professionalism. She was always careful to point out areas where her knowledge had a gap or two and I never felt as though she was trying to waffle her way through something ! She showed warmth and compassion throughout my pregnancy and was very supportive on the day itself too.
She always chose her words carefully and with kindness and the phrase “you’re already doing it” well forever ring in my ears. Every time I feel I can’t go on with anything! She was very helpful and encouraging in the postpartum visit also and above all, treated me with kindness and respect

-Sarah

We are so thankful to have had M. on our team for birth. I knew immediately upon meeting her that she would be a comforting presence for me as someone who struggles with health anxiety. I was able to express the things I was nervous about, my hopes, and my preferences,
and M. came ready and prepared to support me. From the very beginning of labor, my experience was abnormal, but M. was able to help me step through each challenge that came our way and helped me feel empowered to make decisions and to feel safe. M. felt like a second mom- a tender, caring, reassuring presence, that made us feel less alone and prepared for anything that might happen. I highly
recommend her and would call on her again if and when we have another child.

-Julia

M. was a wonderful resource before, during and after the birth of our daughter. We felt very well supported, especially as this was our first child and we didn’t know what to expect. Having M. at the hospital was very comforting and we were thankful to have someone with us the entire time. We would highly recommend M.  to other parents!

-AnnMarie

As first time parents we initially felt overwhelmed and intimidated by the birth process. Doctor’s visits were short and fairly impersonal, whereas for us this was going to be the biggest transformation of our lives! Enter M.: the second we spoke to her, we felt encouraged and comforted by her calm, but joyful demeanor and her uplifting and supporting spirit. Being able to reach out to her with questions finally made us feel like we had someone who actually ‘saw’ us and made an active effort to guide us through this process. She was always ready to answer any questions we had. When our baby had to be induced, I felt confident and calm knowing that M. would be there. She
was in constant connection with us, and arrived right on time and when she said she would. Her encouragement was invaluable during the birth, and in the ‘golden hour’ after she showed me how to latch my baby, which I’m sure set us up for a good breastfeeding journey after. M. did not leave until she saw we were all in a good place, and followed up afterwards with texts and two home visits, which is absolutely
invaluable. If anything, I wish we could’ve had more of those postpartum visits or have them be longer, to make better use of all of M.’s knowledge and calming presence.
We are hugely grateful for M.’s support and will absolutely reach out to her if there
ever comes another baby!

M. was a fantastic supporter and calming, positive presence during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. She.always gave thoughtful answers when I had questions and helped me remember to seek out what I most needed in each moment and addressed my fears or concerns with action. She made the birth environment a calm, beautiful place to be and reassured me every step of the way, even when things were not going as planned. When I have my next child, I will be calling Meredith again!

-Ellen

M. was an amazing source of support during my birth. Since I had a very uneventful pregnancy, I wasn’t sure if I would really benefit from having a birth doula, but it turned out to be the best decision. I initially was laboring at home for a couple days and M. was there by phone and text to talk me through it the whole time.
She arrived at the hospital shortly after I did and helped me with the next part of labor – changing my positions and helping me understand what was going on with the medical interventions. Near the end of the birth, several complications came up. M. was
so invaluable at this time – she helped me stay calm about these unexpected events, she told me how to push and cheered me on, she helped me through the pain and nausea in the aftermath. Even the OB resident at my birth said, “I want you to be my birth doula!” Afterwards I was a bit emotionally shaken up by the experience and she showed up to hug me and help me find more support. If I give birth again I will definitely
want M. to be my doula again!

My husband and I absolutely loved working with M. as our birth doula! While the birth was a difficult and emotional experience for me, her
presence made all the difference. She was incredibly attentive and compassionate, ensuring I felt seen, heard, and genuinely cared for during one of the most challenging moments of my life. Her guidance not only reassured me but also helped my husband understand how to support me better. We both are very grateful for everything M. has done for us, and we are absolutely sure that anyone who chooses to have her as
their doula won’t regret it!

-Diona

M. was a godsend. I had a number of complications late in my pregnancy, during childbirth, and for the first week of my daughter’s life and M. was absolutely crucial to making it through – physically and emotionally. I cannot recommend her enough!

-Julie

M. was absolutely amazing! She stayed by our side the entire labor and supported us in whichever way we (specifically I) wanted and needed..
M.’s expertise and passion for her work made our entire birth process calm. I don’t know what we would have done without her!

-Sheva

M. was incredible leading up to and during my birth. I felt extremely prepared for my unmedicated birth and had multiple coping strategies. When it became difficult during the beginning of the pushing stage, M. got me through so I was able to
deliver a healthy baby girl.

When I first connected with M. I was kind of nervous even though it was my fourth child this was the first time I was going to have a Doula. I was use to it only being me and my husband in the room during all of my birthing experiences and us going along with whatever the doctors said because we had no voice in the hospital. This time I wanted a couple things to be different. During our meetings we had prior to me giving
birth M. made sure she heard and understood all of my requests and concerns she also would explain how to advocate for myself and ask for what I wanted. If at any time I was confused about anything or I had questions she could not answer she would go home do her research and send me articles where I could read about the topic I was asking about. During my labor she was extremely calm she was able to help me with
positioning of the peanut ball and other techniques to help alleviate as much pain as I could. She was the extra support me and my husband needed! Not only was I able to be vocal with my requests but I was able to give birth to a healthy baby girl with the assistance of M. and my husband. I would highly recommend M.’s Doula services her gentle calm demeanor was exactly what we needed during our birthing
experience. When me and my husband decide to go on this journey again we will make sure M. is right there with us. Thanks 😊
