“Even though my birth story didn’t go as I had hoped—being told at a routine weekly visit that I needed to go straight in for an emergency C-section—it was a scary and overwhelming experience. But from the moment I called A., she was at the hospital within minutes. She came fully prepared and was such a calming presence for both me and my husband.

A. gave us her full attention, provided support exactly when we needed it, and intuitively gave us space when we needed time together. She even took beautiful photos, capturing moments we will always cherish.

When my baby was born, he had to be rushed to the NICU. A. understood the process and was there for me in the hospital. She returned the next day to help me express colostrum and showed me how to do it properly. Her support didn’t end there—she kept in touch, respected the space I needed while my baby was in the NICU (for 10 days), and once we were home, she provided incredible postpartum care.

A. is an amazing doula—gentle, kind, communicative, and deeply passionate about what she does. I’m so glad I chose her. She answered every question I had, offered helpful resources, and I truly can’t think of anything I would have wanted done differently.

A. is the kind of doula I wanted to have when I imagined what it would be like. This was our first baby which meant that we were a bit nervous about what to expect at each step of the pregnancy including before, giving birth, and of course afterwards. A. was accommodating, responsive, kind, helpful, and sweet. Her positive and warm attitude got us through everything with a smile and she provided us with security, calm, and all the support. Working with A. was like magic from start to finish. She was so attentive with checking in via texts and calls even before we met for our first in person visit. She always knew what I needed before I did. Whether that was a recommendation or bit of knowledge or just a comforting thought or touch to keep me going. During the birthing process we had a long induction over several days with a few complications and A. never batted an eye. She advocated for me with hospital staff, partnered so well with my mom who was also in the room, and used her expertise to ensure my body got what it needed at every moment. As a new parent I was so grateful for all the support I could get. There are an abundance of things to figure out and I couldn’t have done it alone. Becoming a mom is hard especially in the first couple of weeks. It’s not just learning how to take care of the baby but also how to settle into the new role as a mom.

A. was super supportive during that time and I appreciate how reliable and flexible she was. She helped me with household chores, always had practical tips for my little one and her massages helped me so much to relax.

Birth was definitely an experience! We had some complicated moments and a couple of interventions. Thankfully all went well in the end, and I was able to push her out just like I had dreamed of. A. was beyond amazing! I couldn’t have done it without her and I am super happy she was there to offer support mentally and physically. She really outdid herself and I couldn’t thank her enough. Closer to the end of labor, she was giving me foot messages that I swear are what made me ready to push in no time whatsoever. All of her tips and tricks made the entire labor more comfortable for me, and I would even say it offered me a huge distraction from what I was actually going through.I’m forever thankful for your prompt response and for recommending A.
