I’m a professional, passionate midwife from Switzerland. After my bachelor’s degree in Midwifery, I worked for four years in a Swiss hospital and assisted more than 250 births. It was a high-level hospital, which gave me the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience; besides physiological births, there were also high-risk pregnancies and births in the area. Additionally to my work in the hospital, I supported women and families in their first weeks of postpartum at home. I felt honored to be a part of this intimate and vulnerable phase in their lives. Every working day was full of joy!

After I moved to the United States in early 2022, I  was determined from the beginning that I wish to share my experience and knowledge. It is very important to me, that every woman and family is offered the opportunity to experience an unforgettable and powerful birth event. Nobody should feel lonely, help- and powerless during birth. That’s why I wish to offer my services as a Full-Spectrum Doula.

Furthermore, I have attended various continuing education courses such as acupuncture specifically for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I’m a postpartum pelvic trainer and conducted several pelvic floor courses.

I also have completed training as a babywearing consultant.  Babywearing has been practiced around the world for centuries and regained popularity. I am happy to show you different babywearing techniques.

My knowledge helps me to counsel more specifically,  see things from a different perspective, and expand my understanding of the different requirements of various families.
